Julia Alexandratou (Greek:Τζούλια Αλεξανδράτου), won the B Miss Hellas 2006 title, (Greek: Β Σταρ Ελλάς), where she is going to be representing Greece at the Miss International 2006 event in Shanghai, China. The sexy blonde, had been the bookmakers’ favourite but the judges marked her down and she lost the title to Olympia Hopsonidou (Greek: Ολυμπία Χοψονίδου) who won the Miss Star Hellas title, (Greek: Μις Σταρ Ελλάς), and will be representing Greece at the Miss Universe 2006 pageant which will be held in Los Angeles, California in July; and Irini Karra, (Greek: Ειρήνη Καρρά), who won the Miss Hellas (Greek: Μις Ελλάς) title where she is going to be representing Greece at the Miss World 2006 pageant event which will take place on September 30, 2006 in Warsaw, Poland. Even though she might have lost the top two spots in the competition Julia did win over a huge fan base in Greece. The 1st runner-up to Miss Hellas was 22-year old Elena Asimakopoulou. She will compete in the Miss Europe 2006 pageant in France. Julia has lived for several years in England and speaks English fluently. In 2002 she won the title Miss Young (Greek: Μις Γιανγκ) when she was sixteen years old.
