Description:
The album SYNAVGIA includes music that is based on two opposing traditions, the West and the East. This is not a new stance towards the past, but a contemporary musical creation that unwinds the thread of continuity with tradition.

The music of Daly (lyra, saz, oud, lute, rabab and kemanche) speaks in a primitive but so very innovative language to the spirit of the listener. He guides the listener through forgotten paths revealing to him the light to a land that is throbbing. The Chemirani Trio (zarb, bendir, udu, and daff), Rufus Cappadocia (cello) and Giorgos Symeonidis (ney) add their versions to this mystique liturgy.
