Description:
A seasoned senior enlisted special operations (spec ops) United States Marine is wounded during combat operations in Iraq. He is retired from the Marine Corps and visits a friend on a ranch in the south west. When he arrives he discovers his friend has disappeared and no one will even admit to knowing of him.

William “Spooky” Macpherson is a thirty six year old veteran of the Iraq war. Known as the man with the thousand yard stare he is not only a soldier but a warrior. One day he receives a call from fellow veteran and friend Miguel Silva; a man who saved Macpherson’s life during his tour in the middle east and is now asking for help.

Finding civilian life a bore and a chore Macpherson obliges and journeys to Lukeville, Arizona to help his friend get his newly acquired ranch into shape. But when Macpherson arrives Silva has gone missing. While searching for his friend Macpherson soon realizes that the townspeople of Lukeville are living in fear of the notorious John Rhodes; a man who has taken control of the town for personal gain. When Macpherson finds out that Silva has been killed as part of Rhodes overall strategy nothing stops Macpherson in his quest for justice.
