Hi… I am running windows Vista and i cannot get the emulator to work. I open the pcsx2 as administrator because it will not work otherwise. and when i go to file then run CD, it tells me that it cannot find the bios. I have the bios located within the bios folder of the emulator folder. Then it has me look for the bios, when i locate and open the bios it brings up another application, then it immediately tells me that pcsx2 has stopped working and shuts down. If you know anything about this problem please tell me…

I finally got this to work after much messing around witht the settings. Unfortunatly it runs so slow its not worth messing with.

I have install it in my computer, but it can’t work. It says :
1. Pcsx2 Msg : error opening GS plugin
2. Ps2 output : rom1 not found
rom2 not found
erom not found
GIF reset
creating Zerogs
GS ERROR : need at least vs2.0

could you tell me what the problem is? and what should I do about it?
note: I used alcohol 52% to the CD. Thank You.

Sometimes it says invalid password even if u
type it correctly it happens to me when the
winrar is corrupted during the download.

i have few probs and i hope u will be able to look into those !!

ok this is wat i did :
I dowonloaded da MU thing n then installed da pcxEmu n then extracted the bios to the bios folder … n then when i tried to run a CD it says :

1.unable to load Bios’/bios’ PCX2 cant run without that !!

2.error opening GS plugin
3.Error opening CDVD plug in…

plz help me to make this thing work thnks n cheers…

Hi plimper I have the same problem like others
All the Plugins are working when i test them in the configuration but I get the GS plugin error.
Please help me on this one so that i can get the Emulator to work like other people who made It!!
And Another favour to ask, Please send me the code for the emulator through my e-mail(mcbcrue16@yahoo.com)so that I can help in Developing it.I knwo a little bit of Programing so I hope that I can Help!!

I just made it, but it’s going very very slow…like 3-30 fps or something like that. I got the message that it couldn’t find the BIOS, but this is what I changed:
You open the PCSX2 after you downloaded the emulator, and click config, configure and select Set Bios Directory, and find the BIOS and press OK. After that, press config, controllers and change the controllers how you want it, that’s what I did, and it worked, but as mentioned, it’s working very slow.

AND, for those who gets the message to put a username:
rightclick one the file and find somewhere in there a box which says to run the program as an administrator.
mark the box, or switch it to ON. This is for Vista Users ONLY.

Okay, I just figured out how to do your BIOS when you have one. I’m not sure if I can post it, but oh well. The answer was actually very simple. With your BIOS in your bios folder, open up PSCX2 and go to “Config” once in there go to “Configuration” Go to the bottom left where it says “Set BIOS Directory” And if your BIOS is in your bios folder, go into that and then your Emulator should run.
