Description:
Vidalia is a cross-platform controller GUI for Tor, built using the Qt framework. Using Vidalia, you can start and stop Tor, view the status of Tor at a glance, and monitor Tor’s bandwidth usage. Vidalia also makes it easy to contribute to the Tor network by helping you set up and manage your own Tor server.

Vidalia runs on most platforms supported by Qt 4.1 or later, including Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux or other Unix variants using the X11 window system.

* 07-February-2007: Vidalia 0.0.11 is released. 0.0.11 fixes a bug introduced in 0.0.8 that could sometimes caused Vidalia to freeze, as well as a few other minor bug fixes and usability improvements in the network map, and some translation updates. As always, see the changelog for a complete list of fixes and improvements.

* 25-December-2006: Vidalia 0.0.10 is released. 0.0.10 includes some aesthetic and performance improvements to the network map, as well as a few various usability improvements. This release also restores support for Windows 95/98/Me. If you haven’t upgraded in awhile, now would be a fine time. See the changelog for a complete list of fixes and improvements.

* 05-November-2006: Vidalia 0.0.9 is released. 0.0.9 fixes a couple bugs in the message log and includes an improved interface for setting up a Tor server. The Windows Vidalia and bundle installers now also support multiple languages and the Windows bundle includes Torbutton as well. See the changelog for a complete list of fixes and improvements.
