Scan the setup executable. It is actually a wrapper - inside it are the real setup program and “Codec_v.1004.1.exe”. You can see them if you open it up with z-zip.

@ gramoor,
So if we extract the files and delete that codec it should be fine then right?
I will check it in the morning thanks for the reporting mates.

Then uninstall the KAV, install the program and then install again the KAV.

I don’t mean to install THE trojan. Maybe its a false alarm. Why the KAV of plimper didn’t scan anything inside it and the KAV of gramoor did find a trojan? Strange hm? Maybe the KAV isn’t so good Antivirus after all? But then why didn’t find anything on plimper PC and gramoor PC finds trojan??? Anyway thanks and keep up the good work! And sorry to gramoor…i didn’t want to install any trojan mate. Peace.

Oh and something else plimper. Maybe its not the right section but anyway. Sometimes when i try to post a comment it gives me an error from WordPress and it says to enable the java script and cookies of the browser. But the status says that is already enabled. And also say that if enabled to alert the admin (or something) of this blog to contact the technical support.

Always before i upload any files i used to scan them through Kaspersky Antivirus but it didn’t find anything because this type of trojan it was compressed inside the exe.
On gramoor it was detected when he tried to install the app. That’s how i found out today.I extracted with winrar the exe setup before the installation and that’s how my KAV detected the trojan.
So the best way to check any files before installation is to extract the setup .exe.
The reason i love KAV is when i tried to install it automaticly it locate it and removed it at once.
@ Scorpion
As for the posting problem that gives this perhaps it has to do with some server or connection problems at the time.

plimper

Oh i get it. But the same thing doing the AVG Antivirus plus asking you what to do with the virus when located: Heal, remove, move to vault, ignore, or leave it. Anyway you re the best mate plimper. Peace, love and friendship.
