Windows Vista Sidebar v6.0.6001.18000 for XP SP2 & SP3


Description:
The Windows Sidebar is a widget engine for Desktop Gadgets that is anchored to the side of the Windows Vista desktop. Users can add gadgets from gallery.live.com which were made by other users. Sidebar gadgets can perform various tasks, such as displaying the time and date and showing the CPU usage.

The Sidebar contains mini-applications or Gadgets which may be used to display information such as the system time, Internet-powered features such as RSS feeds, and to control external applications such as Windows Media Player. Desktop Gadgets can also run on the Windows desktop, separate from the Sidebar.

Compatible with both SP2 and SP3 for Windows XP!!!

    You might have trouble installing this because it’s packed wrong.

    Make sure the “svcpack” directory is within the “Ricks_WindowsSidebar_AlkyXP1.1_AddOn” directory before installing. Ignore the instruction text file and just right click on “Entries_Windows_Sidebar.ini” and choose install.

    That should do it. Works fine.

    Thanks for the thanks, but it might work even better if you clicked on “Sidebar.inf” instead of “Entries_Windows_Sidebar.ini.”

    Sorry, had my head in a place it shouldn’t have been. “Svcpack” directory does have to be moved to make it work, though.
