Najwa Karam - Am Bemzah Ma’ak عم بمزح معك‎

Description:
Am Bemzah Ma’ak (Arabic: عم بمزح معك‎) is the 17th studio album from the Lebanese singer Najwa Karam. The album contains 8 tracks, and worked with the famous Lebanese composer Melhem Barakat on two songs. Najwa Karam already released a music video for the album’s title, Aa Bemzah Ma’ak.

The album sold over 100,000 copies in Lebanon in its first week and has gained immense popularity. Most of the album songs contain the unique traditional lebanese beat helping it climb the charts. “Ta’a Khabik” is the best example of futuristic lebanese developed rythme and holds a superior setting than most other tracks Middle Eastern artists are coming up with. “Ammanti Galbi” puts two styles of music in one and has a strong upbeat presence, like the cultural dabkeh.

Bio
Najwa Karam (born February 26, 1966 in Zahle, Lebanon). She is the youngest amongst her 4 siblings, Salwa the eldest and her only sister, and three brothers Tony, Jean and Nicolas. Najwa studied in Zahle and graduated from High School (Lebanese Baccalaureate in Philosophy), and became a teacher for two years.

Her musical talents were apparent from a young age where she used to sing at some school parties with her friends and joined the chorus of Saydet Najat Cathedral since she was 11 years old. Najwa’s father initially disapproved of her interest in musical profession.
