When the eighties ended and the nineties began, musical trends quickly began changing. This change in the dominant musical styles pretty much killed classic metal. Fortunately though, the Scorpions were one of the few bands that managed to endure this period. Although their popularity wasn’t anywhere near what it was back in the eighties, they were still a strong band. And in 1991, the band released the Crazy World album - their first studio album of the new decade.
